Wake Up To Organic on 13 June

By 30 April 2018May 24th, 2022No Comments

Over 290 retailers across the UK have signed up to take part in this year’s Wake Up To Organic and we would love you, our members and pledgors, to make the most of the many opportunities for marketing and brand engagement.

Here are just a few ideas of how to get involved on Wednesday 13 June.

#1 Have a look at the map on the Wake Up To Organic website for a list of participating stores you may like to work with on the day. Perhaps you supply a great shop or café local to you, or have one that you rate highly and would like to support? Attending in-store Wake Up To Organic events gives you an opportunity to showcase your products and engage with customers while they enjoy their free mini breakfasts. You can download our Wake up to Organic Flyer here, to give the store more information.

#2 Do you know a great chef or blogger who could use some of your products in a breakfast demo, either at a store, or perhaps in a short film on your social media channels? If you would like to link up with a retailer and need to discuss ideas first, please contact Tilly, Wake Up To Organic campaign co-ordinator.

#3 Why not hold a Wake Up To Organic breakfast in your offices and join the conversation on social media. Last year the Soil Association served a variety of yoghurts and granolas at their HQ in Bristol, and Organix hosted a Build Your Own Breakfast in their office. Tweet or Instagram photos, or post live to Facebook, using #WakeUpToOrganic to amplify the message on the day.

#4 June is a great month to think about special promotions to tie in with both Wake Up To Organic (aimed at the independents) and our Organic. Feed Your Happy campaign (market-wide), which will be running throughout June. It could be anything from a special discount to a competition to win a special prize.

#5 Every time you engage with our campaigns you are helping to celebrate the diverse range of organic products available across the UK. Research shows that when customers increase purchases of organic in one category as a result of promotions, this has a multiplying effect in other categories. With organic sales rising by 6% last year, consumers are listening and steadily adjusting their shopping habits. Join us to help grow organic sales and let’s make this year our best yet!
